Youth Radio Leaders,

I've been listening to some of the work y'all have been uploading to
PRX recently, and it's wonderful. There are new pieces coming in from
all over: Indiana, Alaska, California, Israel and Ireland... Woohoo!
If you haven't visited lately, go to
http://generation.prx.org/listen.php and search all youth-produced
pieces to hear the latest.

A few quick updates:

1. For those that expressed interest in sharing radio teaching
materials, I've uploaded the Peer Feedback Guide into the teach section
of the website (http://generation.prx.org/tools.php#teach). If you
have materials you'd like to share, send them my way and I can include
them too.

2. Do you know radio-inclined youth near Traverse City, Michigan? Radio
Anyway is sponsoring a week-long Youth Radio Boot Camp for high
school-aged youth. The camp involves intensive training and
production of a one hour documentary. Tuition is $50 which includes
all program costs and daily lunches.  Full scholarships are available;
enrollment is limited to 12. I'm also told that the program will find
host housing (including meals) for students who can get themselves
there. To learn more, visit http://www.radioanyway.org/

3. The Youth Editorial Board has openings coming up in the next few
months. If you know a producer who's interested in writing reviews,
listening to work, selecting features, and receiving a small
compensation, please let me know.

Thanks to all for uploading, listening, sending ideas and being the
cool folks you are.

Best,

Jones
