[youthradioleaders] Schooled: A Youth Radio Special from KUOW and GPRX

Dear Youth Radio Land,

The White House, Congress, think tanks, principals’ offices, teachers’  
unions, and other Very Important Positions are fighting over how to  
educate youth.  But what do teenagers actually think about the  
education they’re getting?  For the next youth radio special from KUOW  
and Generation PRX, we're going back to school.  We want to hear from  
you!

Whether you went to public schools, charter schools, private schools,  
schools in other countries, alternative schools, or home school, we  
want to know: What did you love?  What did you struggle with?  How did  
you make it through graduation, or why did you drop out?  And what  
kind of changes to education would really make a difference?

Upload your stories to PRX by Monday, March 22, 2010, then send an  
email with the piece link to KUOW Producer Jenny Asarnow, jennya at kuow.org 
.  With such a quick turnaround, we don't expect that you'll be  
creating new works (though you can!), but this is a good opportunity  
to polish up already-produced works  for submission.  For details,  
please see the attached info sheet.
