Greetings from Across the Ocean,
Radijojo World Children's Radio Network will be part of the World Summit on Media for Children and Youth in Karlstad, Sweden in June 2010:
http://www.wskarlstad2010.se/
Your team would like to be there but it's too far, too expensive, too complicated?
Here is how you can be part of the Summit:
We would like to hereby invite ALL non-profit children/youth radio groups in America to send us educational, entertaining audios by kids for kids.
We will present and include the best entries in our Kids Summit radio workshops over there in Sweden - and show the highlights on our Transatlantic Website:
www.across-the-ocean.org
and our global website:
www.world-childrens-radio.net
All contributions welcome, if they are:
* timeless/evergreen
* made by kids, age preferrably under 14,
* on all kids of issues that are relevant, understandable and
interesting for kids between 10 and 14 or below
* no rights of third parties (pop songs etc.) included
* for free since as a grassroots NGO, we can not pay for content.
BUT: In exchange, you are heartly invited to use every piece you find
on our websites and on our PRX channel (for educational, non-profit
use, only).
For all who don't know us yet:
Radijojo World Children's Radio has been awarded by UNICEF, UNESCO, EU commission for its educational, intercultural, not-for-profit, advertising-free work with kids for kids.
- So, your material will be in good hands ;o)
Any other ideas, questions, collaboration proposals welcome at any time.
