[youthradioleaders] 5 Ways to Get Radio Work Heard

Hello all,

There's big news for teachers and leaders from PRX:  Full-length playable PRX audio pieces can now be posted on Facebook (no logging in required) and for those with a paid PRX account, new embeddable audio players allow you to embed audio into your blog or website.  Here are 5 ways to use these tools and help pieces get heard:

1. Enable your pieces for sharing by following these instructions.  Note that stations will still need to license audio work on PRX for broadcast - sharing allows streaming of audio (not downloading)
2. Integrate sharing audio into teaching: Invite students to share their own audio work by using any of the options (Facebook, Twitter, email, embed etc.) available on PRX piece pages. Imagine the potential audiences!  Friends, parents, teachers, potential employers, new crushes etc.
3. Let me know when your pieces are shareable, so I can post the work directly on the GPRX Facebook page: Facebook.com/generationprx 
4. Embed the audio player on your website.  If you have a paid PRX account, there are lots of reasons to use the embeddable audio player: large and small options, trackable listens and (if we do say so) pretty!
