I am very interested in this feedback as well!  We are wanting to do the same thing for a week or two this summer.  Does anyone do this or have templates?

Hi. I'm working at a college in Miami, FL to expand the journalism program. I am looking to create a radio camp for teens and am open to advice of the technical, organizational or pedagogical sort if anyone's ever run such a program out of a college or any other venue.
Thanks,

Subject: [youthradioleaders] Nominate your Favorite Story for GPRX's Best of 2011

Hello Radioland,

Here at Generation PRX we're in the midst of one of our favorite year-ending rituals: Listening to youth radio stories of the past year and selecting which ones will make our Best Youth-Made Radio of 2011 playlist.  Here's where we turn to you, our trusted radio friends:

Is there a youth radio story that knocked your socks off this past year?  A radio piece that stood out above the rest?   If so, please email the story's PRX link to generationprx at prx.org or post the link to GPRX's Facebook page with a word or two about why the piece deserves a spot on the list.  To be eligible, stories must be available on PRX, and must have been posted during 2011.

Note: Totally fair game to nominate your own stories, and totally fine to upload stories to PRX before the year's out to include those too!

Once we've compiled our playlist, we'll share it in the January 2012 edition of Signal, the GPRX Newsletter.  We'll also post it to PRX, GPRX, our social networks, and via our station newsletters (just as we did with the best of 2008 and 2010) - we want the world to hear these stories!

Happy New Year and Happy Listening from all of us at PRX,

Jones
