The MacArthur Foundation and Illinois Humanities Council is sponsoring a
national competition for creative media pieces about strengthening American
democracy. $100,000 in prize money will be awarded in May. Submissions are
due by April 16th, 2013.  We thought you’d be interested in passing along
this exciting opportunity to your colleagues!

We’re looking for short, provocative media submissions designed to spark a
national conversation about how we can all come together to strengthen
American democracy.
