Hi everyone,

We're trying to build our knowledge and our library over at People's
Production House and Radio Rootz. We're looking for books, magazines,
videos, etc that talk about good ways to work with young people, about
how to respect them and their ideas, how to support them well.

We want books and tools on conflict resolution, confronting racism,
sexism, and heterosexism in healthy ways. Books with tools for white
teachers working with young people of color, books on including
families in our youth work, books on how to work with public school
bureaucracies. Books by teachers, books by youth. You get the idea.
And of course, we're looking for good books and tools on youth media
and youth organizing!

I've been looking around the internet and talking to some folks, but I
have not yet found a good list. If people send us ideas, we will put
up a section of the Rootz website with compiles the responses we get.
That way, we can thank everyone for taking the time to share their
knowledge by making it all accessible to a bigger audience, and avoid
reinventing the wheel next time.

Thanks!
Kat and the Radio Rootz crew
