[youthradioleaders] Distribution: How does it work for your radio group?

Radio friends and leaders,

I'm in the process of doing some research around how youth radio groups distribute their stories, and I'd love to hear from you. Would you be able to share how the process works in your group?

Here's what I'm wondering:

- How are youth engaged in distributing or promoting their radio work?
- Where does the work get shared? (e.g., PRX, local station, Facebook, email, blogs, etc.)
- Who is the intended or imagined audience?
- How integrated is distribution in teaching radio overall?
- Are other youth hearing these stories? If so, where are they hearing them?
- Do youth producers follow their stories after they've been shared? (for example, paying attention to number of listens, reviews on PRX, licenses etc.)

If you or your students want to weigh in on any or all of these questions, please send me an email me off list. If you'd rather a conversation, please just say the word - I'd love to hear from you!

Many thanks,

Jones
